Nigeria Politics

Nigeria Politic is a legal business where politicians buy people's vote and play games with the people's right. Though it is a bit funny with the definition above but, the definition is acceptable to me cause every day, our hopes as a  Nigerian fades like a flower that is uprooted from its source of life. We sold our vote to them just for to fight for our right but they turn politics to game, playing with our feelings and the young ones are dying, they are shouting at us "LAZY YOUTH". Nigeria politics is a legal job, whereby people in power enrich their unborn blood's account while the citizen  scrap penny which hardly feeds their household. The government officials arrest cub fraudsters and watch the senior ones spending lavishly. And they will buy the media houses over to clean their mistakes. Nigeria politician are fond of keeping money underground. Just to keep it for their unborn generations. Nigeria Politics is also a state whereby honest people don't st...

Origin of "IYAWO"

*The Origin Of  "ÌYÀWÓ" (The Yoruba Word For Wife)* *It is unknown to many speakers of the Yorùbá language that the original Yorùbá word for wife is ‘AYA’ and not the commonly used ‘Ìyàwó’.* Back in the early years of the Yorùbá people, the word “ Iyawo “did not have a place in the Yorùbá language not until an incident brought about its coinage and usage. Old Nigeria present you the origin of the Yorùbá word Ìyàwó . Wúràọlá had been rude to everyone of them. In fact, she hurled insults and curses at her suitors which made them all leave on the same day they arrived t...

My Experience

It was an evening in time when I held you close As we listened to the falling rain Sitting in front of a warm flickering fire Sharing our dreams with a glass of champagne Somehow, I never could have imagined Spending an evening like that with you As we talked between the falling raindrops And expressing our points of view With my arms wrapped around you I thought about how hard it would be to let you go Then you turned around and kissed me Only then at that moment did I really know  We fell in love on that special night But I couldn't find the words to say As you were the only one in my life Who has ever made me feel that way When I looked deep into your eyes And then I took your hand I knew that all I ever needed Was to love and to hold you all that I can You became a part of my little world And knew that I could never  let you go
