COUNTRY AT SIXTY

Country at sixty Can we stop the game? Can we stop the blame? Can we help the lame? Can we stop the shame? Can we stop been the same? How can we stop been tame? Can we destroy corruption fame? Can we stand the name? can we quench the terrorist flame? Can we find our lane? Do we have any aim? Can we rebuild the frame? Country at sixty We ought to have a better country And forget our previous mistakes To start new beginning But the country turns Out to be a playground Where politics become game Newly appointed blamed the previous The lame citizen opinion is neglected The government put the country to shame We demand for change but we are still the same We are tame by the government system They are happy giving fame to corruption Our name doesn't stand anymore Great people, Great nation Our land and borders are covered with armed  Terrorist that flame everywhere they step We are left on the wrong lane by our leaders Our youth become fraudster Criminal leader are the ones crowned...
Nigeria will be sixty tomorrow, the question what are or is our tangible achievement after independent? What are the positive changes in our system of operation? What has become our economic? We can boastfully say we are moving to climax or dancing to perish. Can we say our system of government is helping or still? Can we say there is better future with the dramas in the government ssystem      Hopefully, The positive thinker said "yes" but our leader has no better plan for the future.why? We changed a MAN to replace a MAN? But the MAN  was chasing what cannot be achieved, he is trying to eliminate what has been from beginning "CORRUPTION". Corruption can't be eradicate unless you want to be eradicated by corruption. The MAN said that Our years in school has no meaning while 60% of the rulers hardly got a better certificate. His government gives chances for those monster to use slight opportunity to enrich their account while they left the...

LIFE AND LIVING IN NIGERIA II

It is so pathetic to believe that Nigeria, a country colonized by educated foreign men and her independent was fight for by educated Nigeria elites is now a country lagging in Educational sector. They care no more for formal education. Percent of those politicians in House of representative and House of Assembly hardly has complete formal education. So since leaders hardly have complete formal education, what do you expect from them? Do you think formal educational sector will progress?            Let's move to the northern part of our beloved country, Though Hausa are known to be farmers but if the government can help with formal education, Nigeria farming system would have being better. But the northern part education is 2.9% focused, in a classroom, hardly can you find a complete seat in any public school. The private school which few people can afford has complete seat in each cclassroom. The northern part student complain of lack of learning equipment...

LIFE AND LIVING IN NIGERIA I

It is an irony to say Nigeria is moving forward or to say Nigeria is a standard Country with good leaders. We can't say that Nigeria is the gaint of Africa any longer neither richest with mineral resources in Africa nor great nation. Leaders has made living in Nigeria a hell to their followers. Rights is no longer respect like before. Citizens live from hand to mouth, No savings. Yet leaders save  for their unborn children, thinking they have a good heart.       According to an interview with an Igbo boy, He shared his experience with me  that "Each of the goods I sold, I got maximum of 30 naira gain, and before I could put something to mouth I would have sold up to six approximately 180 naira which the six is not certain" he paused "I'm a graduate with third class upper from  university of Benin, My family tried their best to sent me there and I studied Business Administration, but what comes out of it is to be a street hawker." He said.  This person ...

Scaring midnight

It was a legit dream Or Is it a bad omen Thou' I was wake by the  Sounds of strange birds My heart pounded like prey that  Escaped. All I could think is how can   A bright day  Had a strange dark midnight Terrifying peaceful sleep All hope of getting to morning seems  Lost All my heart could do Is to focus On the strange noise At first I taught  The homeless bird are hungry But, Blackman mentality came  Into me And said, that could be the sorceress' Voice. Oh lovely night  Why are you full of strange noise? Why are you scaring the innocent? I know you might full of scaring voice The day will harvest happiness
