WITHIN

The pain I felt within me

Is greater than the burn of hades,

I felt broken,shattered and dismayed

like a broken mirror,

reflecting all pains of cosmos.

Within me, there's battle

of losing and winning,

Hating and loving,

Peace and war,

Living and dying!

Within me, I felt the end is nigh,

I couldn't face myself,

No motivation

No inspiration

to feed my dying soul!

Night without tears

Never comes to me,

My pillows are soaked in tears.

Pieces of me shattered everywhere,

I gave my night to sadness;

Insincere happiness to my daylight.

Within me, stories I can't relate,

Kills me slowly, I felt like I'm dying.

Even at my dying thoughts,

I heard a still voice, fueling and inspiring

my little strength, "Grind on" it says!

The Golden Charity Foundation (GCF) brought festive cheer to the City of Refuge Orphanage Home on December 26, 2024, as part of their annual Christmas project.
