Captain Fadolee; The Man Who Turns Moments Into unforgettable Memories

CFR- Captain For a Reason

Every memorable gathering has that one person who doesn’t just show up, they own the moment. Not by accident, not by luck,  but because it’s in their blood. That person, for many stages and many stories, has been Captain Fadolee.

Born Olufadi Afeez Danjuma Olajide, and fondly known on the streets and in the spotlight as Captain Fadolee, this man isn’t just a hype man, he is the moment. A born showman, a respected host, a voice that hits the right notes every single time, and a name that has become synonymous with high energy and excellence.

Weddings, concerts, award nights, campus events, name it. Wherever there's a crowd waiting to be moved, Captain Fadolee delivers like it’s his first and only shot. And that’s what makes him different. It’s not just about the noise or the mic, it’s about how he feels the pulse of a room and flips the switch. He doesn’t talk at the audience. He talks with them. He listens. He connects. And somehow, he always knows just what the moment needs.

From humble beginnings to massive stages, his journey hasn’t been powered by hype alone. It’s been built on discipline, consistency, and that fire that only a few entertainers truly carry. He is Fulani by blood, but his vibe belongs to everyone. His energy doesn’t fade,  it multiplies. You don’t just watch him; you remember him.

And the streets have noticed. The awards rolled in not because he chased them, but because his work speaks too loud to be ignored, Most Energetic Hypeman of the Year at the Elite Vibez Awards (2021, 2022, 2023), and the Kwara Vendors Award. These aren’t just plaques, they’re receipts.

But here’s the part that really stands out: beyond the stage lights and the loud cheers, Fadolee remains grounded. He honours every invitation, respects every stage, and gives his all every single time. His greatest reward? Watching people smile, dance, scream, and lose themselves in the joy he brings.

Today, as Captain Fadolee marks another year, it’s not just a birthday we’re celebrating. We’re toasting to a man who turned his gift into a brand, his brand into a movement, and his movement into unforgettable experiences.

So here’s to more fire, more stages, more growth, and more proof that there can only be one Captain Fadolee.

Happy Birthday, legend. You’re not just the voice, you’re the experience.

Kwara State Polytechnic Mass Communication Graduate Emerges Best Fellow at the 2024 Young Communication Fellowship

As I read about Mosunmola Esther Ajibade’s recent achievement, lines from the Kwara State Polytechnic anthem echoed in my mind. The anthem is more than a song; it captures the heart of the institution’s mission: "Our Citadel Of Excellence, Great Minds Have Come Out Of Thee. Our Blessed POLYTECHNIC That Nurtures Talents, Fulfills Dreams, Destinies, Hopes And Aspirations. We Love You For You Are The Haven Of Bright Mind With Great Ideas. Your Products Are Found Everywhere, KWARAPOLY, Your Praises We Sing." These lines perfectly tells the story of Mosunmola. A graduate of the Mass Communication Department, she has excelled across various fields as a voiceover artist, OAP, red carpet host, and writer. Her latest feat as the best fellow at the 2024 Young Communication Fellowship, organized by PR Nigeria in partnership with Image Marketer Promotion (IMP), adds another feather to her cap. Mosunmola entered the fellowship as an alternative candidate but emerged as the bes...

Corps Member Tackles Unemployment in Gombe with Fish Farming Training

A bold new project aimed at transforming the lives of 100 young people in Gombe is underway, as Ishaq Abdullahi Shehu, a dedicated National Youth Service Corps member from Kano State, turns his agricultural expertise into a community development program. The initiative focuses on modern fish farming techniques designed to combat youth unemployment and boost local food production. Ishaq, a graduate of agriculture from Kano University of Science and Technology Wudil with specializations in forestry, fisheries, and wildlife, is committed to changing the perception of farming. “Agriculture must be seen as a viable business, not just a way of life,” he explains. His program centers on the innovative Recirculatory Aquaculture System (RAS), a method that recycles water through mechanical and biological filtration to allow for high-density, sustainable fish farming while minimizing the use of land and water. Gombe, like many parts of Nigeria, is grappling with the dual challenges o...
