A night with a Bawd.

I was caught twixt tequila and telescopic visions
After wandering through the nook and cranny
Of macrocosm's catastrophe
Searching for a damsel to tamper with my somatic sense.

I went to a brothel where immoralists lies their head
they wiggled their natural gift to me like a dog who saw it's master
I glanced at them like a priest, ready to blessed their soul with my man-point
They are curvaceous and beautifully sighted.

Their goods are shining like heavenly stars
My man-point makes the call to my brain
Telling him to contact my soul and my mouth
But my pouch was biting my left hand
Because I had nothing on me save a golden pen.

I asked for a night-price
B'cause my man-point is my vice
"two penny", a stilled voice replied
My heart melted like natural honey
pouring from edulcorated fountain
I went into her bed to bang away the hardness.

Her tone energized my energy
She rides like a beautiful cowgirl from east
And I drove her to the seventh heaven
Where the climax of no return begins
Her techniques are heavenly gifted gifts.

Her body was filled with semen like poet's pamphlet
I have filled her honey spot with my pen
And she praised me like a sonorous chorister
I felt fulfilled like bard who poured out his heart.

Boom...! The doom loomed in the room
when she asked for her pay
My face turned gloom
Like an orphan
I couldn't say a word
I zoomed to my pocket
Which produce nothing into my frustrating hand.

I acted the art
But I couldn't pay for it
The bawd rained insults on me
I swallowed them like a hard swallow
I was turn to maid, I washed undies till next morrow.

Kwara State Polytechnic Mass Communication Graduate Emerges Best Fellow at the 2024 Young Communication Fellowship

As I read about Mosunmola Esther Ajibade’s recent achievement, lines from the Kwara State Polytechnic anthem echoed in my mind. Our Blessed POLYTECHNIC That Nurtures Talents, Fulfills Dreams, Destinies, Hopes And Aspirations. We Love You For You Are The Haven Of Bright Mind With Great Ideas. Your Products Are Found Everywhere, KWARAPOLY, Your Praises We Sing." These lines perfectly tells the story of Mosunmola. A graduate of the Mass Communication Department, she has excelled across various fields as a voiceover artist, OAP, red carpet host, and writer. Her latest feat as the best fellow at the 2024 Young Communication Fellowship, organized by PR Nigeria in partnership with Image Marketer Promotion (IMP), adds another feather to her cap. Mosunmola entered the fellowship as an alternative candidate but emerged as the bes...

Corps Member Tackles Unemployment in Gombe with Fish Farming Training

A bold new project aimed at transforming the lives of 100 young people in Gombe is underway, as Ishaq Abdullahi Shehu, a dedicated National Youth Service Corps member from Kano State, turns his agricultural expertise into a community development program. The initiative focuses on modern fish farming techniques designed to combat youth unemployment and boost local food production. Ishaq, a graduate of agriculture from Kano University of Science and Technology Wudil with specializations in forestry, fisheries, and wildlife, is committed to changing the perception of farming. “Agriculture must be seen as a viable business, not just a way of life,” he explains. His program centers on the innovative Recirculatory Aquaculture System (RAS), a method that recycles water through mechanical and biological filtration to allow for high-density, sustainable fish farming while minimizing the use of land and water. Gombe, like many parts of Nigeria, is grappling with the dual challenges o...
