Giant of Africa, the land of hopes and dreams, where rivers once ran free,
A story of broken promises cut through each tree.
Beneath the weight of empty words, Nigeria cries in pain,
As our leaders sow mirages, leaving hearts to bear the strain.
A leader once spoke of strength, of unity and might,
But now, the youth stand weighed down, their futures far from bright.
With dreams of peace and progress, we strive to pave the way,
But empty hands and expressionless hearts won't lead us to that day.
We can't let the greed of few devour our nation's soul,
United, we must stand to make our nation whole.
We're no longer blinded by deceit, our eyes now see the truth,
We'll raise our voice in unison, reclaiming our lost youth.
The subsidy may have vanished, the price we cannot bear,
But our strength fibs in unity, in this bond we share.
For education, once a dream, now drifts beyond our reach,
Yet knowledge is our weapon, concurrently, we'll beseech.
The heart of every Nigerian beats in unison,
Through painful words, we must rise, reclaim what has been undone.
Like a broom, we'll rewrite the tale, a future bright and true,
For Nigeria, our fatherland, we'll forge a path anew.
