To our esteemed project rector, Engr Dr ABDUL JIMOH Mohammed,
We, the students of Kwara State Polytechnic, would like to express our sincere gratitude and admiration for your leadership and guidance. You have been a wonderful father to us, and we appreciate the innovations and development you have brought to our institution.
We are writing to you with a humble request to reconsider the recent increment in our tuition fees due to late registration. We understand that the Nigerian economy is facing many challenges and that the institution needs to generate more revenue to sustain its quality and standards. However, we also hope that you will empathize with our situation as students, who have to bear the burden of various expenses, such as textbooks, practicals, transportation, accommodation, and other necessities.
We are proud to be part of this prestigious institution, and we are eager to learn and excel in our chosen fields. However, the increment in our tuition fees can pose a serious obstacle to our academic aspirations and dreams. It can also force some of us to resort to illegal or immoral means of raising money, which is not what you have taught us to do.
We appeal to your kindness and generosity, and we ask you to have mercy on us, your children. We hope that you will consider reducing the tuition fees or providing some form of financial assistance or scholarship to needy students. We believe that this will not only ease our financial stress but also motivate us to work harder and perform better in our studies.
We thank you for your time and attention, and we pray that God will bless you and your family.
Your obedient students,
Kwara State Polytechnic
Excellent 👍
