NYSC Corps Member Leads Community Development Talk at Government Vocational Training School, Bolari East
In a bid to inspire young minds towards active community participation, NYSC Corps Member Shukurat Temitope Ibrahim and her team organized a Community Development Talk at Government Vocational Training School, Bolari East.
Addressing the pupils, Shukurat emphasized the importance of community development, defining it as “helping people to help themselves.” She urged the students to be responsible members of their society, stressing that even small contributions can drive positive change.
The event was graced by the Principal, Mr. Usman Umar Shettima, alongside teachers and students. In his remarks, the principal lauded the initiative, describing it as timely and impactful. He also commended Shukurat and her teammates for their dedication to youth empowerment.
The event saw the active participation of fellow Corps Members Haroon Muhammed, Patience Paul, Jonathan Joel, and Chidinma Cleopatra, who contributed to the engaging discussions on community growth and responsibility.
