What Sucks About Life?

I had wanted to speak and write about this topic for long but each time I tried to, there's always barricade hindering the flows of inspirations, Thanks to God, I'm able to overcome it like a flowing water.

Life is a precious gift that we should cherish and enjoy. However, life is not always easy or fair. Sometimes, life sucks. There are many things that suck about life, such as death, suffering, injustice, and meaninglessness.

One of the most obvious and inevitable things that suck about life is death. Death is the end of our existence and the loss of everything we love. We cannot stop chasing death, as it is our ultimate destiny. On this earth, I got to know 'nothing last forever', is it the luxurious house? car? or what? Greatest title we'll never leave to hear is 'LATE'. It sucks that righteous people die, why would they die? Death taught me that, there's no segregation in him. We journeyed to earth with nothing to acquire everything that will not be required from us when we become landlord underneath. Death is the great equalizer that takes away everything we have and leaves us with nothing. However, death is also a part of life that we have to accept and face. We can cope with death by cherishing the memories of our loved ones, celebrating their lives, and finding comfort in our faith or philosophy. We can also live each day as if it were our last, and make the most of our time and talents.

Another thing that sucks about life is suffering. Suffering is the experience of pain, hardship, or distress. We all suffer in different ways, such as physical illness, emotional trauma, mental stress, or social oppression. Suffering can be caused by natural disasters, human actions, or personal choices. Suffering can make us feel hopeless, angry, or depressed. It can also make us question the meaning and value of our lives. However, suffering is also a part of life that we can overcome and learn from. We can cope with suffering by seeking help, support, and healing from others. We can also find strength, courage, and resilience in ourselves. We can also use our suffering as an opportunity to grow, change, and improve ourselves.

A third thing that sucks about life is injustice. Injustice is the lack of fairness, equality, or respect in the world. We live in a world where there are many forms of injustice, such as racism, sexism, poverty, violence, and corruption. Injustice can affect our rights, opportunities, and dignity. It can also cause harm, conflict, and division among people. Injustice can make us feel outraged, frustrated, or powerless. It can also make us doubt the goodness and justice of the world. However, injustice is also a part of life that we can challenge and change. We can cope with injustice by speaking up, taking action, and joining forces with others. We can also seek justice, peace, and harmony in ourselves and in the world. We can also use our voice, power, and influence to make a positive difference in the world.

A fourth thing that sucks about life is meaninglessness. Meaninglessness is the absence of purpose, significance, or value in life. We may feel that our lives are meaningless when we do not have a clear direction, goal, or passion. We may also feel that our lives are meaningless when we do not have a sense of belonging, connection, or contribution. Meaninglessness can make us feel bored, empty, or lost. It can also make us wonder why we exist and what we are living for. However, meaninglessness is also a part of life that we can create and discover. We can cope with meaninglessness by finding our passion, purpose, and potential. We can also find meaning in our relationships, activities, and causes. We can also use our gifts, talents, and skills to express ourselves and serve others.

Overall, life sucks in many ways, but it also has many opportunities and possibilities. We can deal with the suckiness of life by accepting, coping, overcoming, and learning from it. We can also make life suck less by living, loving, and growing from it. Life is what we make of it, and we can make it meaningful and worthwhile. Nothing inspired me about life than DEATH. Death is the only satisfactory achievement man can ever recorded. Death gives peace and open door to new life... But if it doesn't, then it becomes a blessing to soil and termites.

As I read about Mosunmola Esther Ajibade’s recent achievement, lines from the Kwara State Polytechnic anthem echoed in my mind. The anthem is more than a song; it captures the heart of the institution’s mission: "Our Citadel Of Excellence, Great Minds Have Come Out Of Thee. Our Blessed POLYTECHNIC That Nurtures Talents, Fulfills Dreams, Destinies, Hopes And Aspirations. We Love You For You Are The Haven Of Bright Mind With Great Ideas. Her latest feat as the best fellow at the 2024 Young Communication Fellowship, organized by PR Nigeria in partnership with Image Marketer Promotion (IMP), adds another feather to her cap. Corps Member Tackles Unemployment in Gombe with Fish Farming Training

A bold new project aimed at transforming the lives of 100 young people in Gombe is underway, as Ishaq Abdullahi Shehu, a dedicated National Youth Service Corps member from Kano State, turns his agricultural expertise into a community development program. The initiative focuses on modern fish farming techniques designed to combat youth unemployment and boost local food production. Ishaq, a graduate of agriculture from Kano University of Science and Technology Wudil with specializations in forestry, fisheries, and wildlife, is committed to changing the perception of farming. “Agriculture must be seen as a viable business, not just a way of life,” he explains. His program centers on the innovative Recirculatory Aquaculture System (RAS), a method that recycles water through mechanical and biological filtration to allow for high-density, sustainable fish farming while minimizing the use of land and water. Gombe, like many parts of Nigeria, is grappling with the dual challenges o...
